The use of a torsion shaft dual servo bending machine must follow the complete process of "New Machine Preparation → Start-up Inspection → Parameter Setting → Formal Operation → Safety Procedures." The specific operating steps are as follows:

 

Initial Preparation Upon Arrival of the New Machine
After the new equipment arrives, basic preparations need to be completed first:

**Lubrication:** Open the main oil tank cover and add No. 46 anti-wear hydraulic oil, leaving approximately 5 cm of space between the oil level and the top of the tank; refer to the machine's lubrication indicator diagram and add lubricating oil to all lubrication points.

**Electrical Connection and Debugging:** Connect three live wires to the bottom of the electrical box, and connect the neutral (N) terminal to the ground wire; after starting the oil pump, check the motor rotation direction. If the rotation is incorrect, swap any two live wires to correct it.

 

Safety Inspection Before Start-up
Strictly adhere to the machine tool safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment as required; check that the motor, switches, wiring, and grounding are secure and functioning properly, and confirm that all operating buttons are in the correct positions.

Check the overlap and tightness of the upper and lower dies, and confirm that all positioning devices meet the processing requirements. If the upper slide plate and positioning shaft are not at the origin, run the return-to-origin program first.

After startup, run the machine idle for 1-2 minutes, allowing the upper slide plate to move through its full stroke 2-3 times. Confirm there are no abnormal noises or malfunctions before preparing for operation.

 

Parameter and Die Adjustment

Stroke Adjustment: A test run is essential before bending to ensure that when the upper die descends to the bottom, a gap equal to the plate thickness remains to avoid damaging the die and equipment.

Gutter Selection: Generally, select a lower die groove with a width 8-10 times the plate thickness. If no existing groove is a perfect match, select the groove closest to the target size.

System Parameter Settings: In the Es10 CNC system interface, select the workpiece material, input the sheet thickness, and the actual bending width. Edit the opening size of the corresponding lower die slot. Generally, select the "Single" operation mode. Do not modify the system's basic parameters unless for professional debugging. After changing the die, a trial bend is required. Fine-tune the parameters according to the actual bending angle, and save after confirmation before use.

Backgauge Adjustment: Supports electric rapid adjustment + manual fine-tuning. Input the target backgauge size to complete positioning.

Gap Adjustment: When adjusting the gap between the upper and lower dies, the slider must stop at the top dead center. Adjust the gap from large to small. The initial gap can be about 1 mm larger than the sheet thickness, and it must be ensured that the gap is greater than the sheet thickness.
