What Are The Manufacturing Processes Of Electro-hydraulic Servo CNC Bending Machines?

Apr 11, 2026 Leave a message

The manufacturing processes of electro-hydraulic servo CNC bending machines mainly include key stages such as design, welding, heat treatment, precision machining, assembly, and debugging.

Each stage directly affects the accuracy and stability of the equipment.

Design and Simulation Analysis: Structural design is performed using CAD/CAE software, and finite element analysis software such as ANSYS is used to perform mechanical simulations on key components such as the machine body and slider, optimizing rigidity and deformation resistance to ensure high precision under high loads.

Integral Welded Structure Manufacturing: The machine body and slider adopt an integral welded structure made of all steel plates. All welds must meet the specifications in the process documents, and the welding materials must match the base material. Large structural components require overall annealing in a large annealing furnace or vibration aging treatment after welding to eliminate residual stress, prevent deformation, and improve seismic performance and long-term stability.

Precision Machining: The frame is machined in one go using a precision floor-type boring machine or multi-face machining center to ensure the parallelism and perpendicularity of each mounting surface. The worktable, slider uprights, and other components undergo mirror-finish machining to ensure vertical accuracy and surface finish.

Core Component Assembly

A German-imported electro-hydraulic servo valve and a HEIDENHAIN linear encoder are installed to form a closed-loop control system, achieving high-precision synchronous control of the slider's Y1 and Y2 axes.

The back gauge mechanism is equipped with imported guide rails and lead screws, supporting multi-axis linkage (X, R, Z1, Z2, etc.) with a positioning accuracy of ±0.01mm.

A dual servo pump control system is adopted, reducing hydraulic oil consumption to 1/3 to 1/5 of ordinary systems, lowering energy consumption by over 75%.

CNC System Integration and Function Debugging
Equipped with intelligent CNC systems such as the Dutch DELEM, Italian ESA, or CT15, supporting graphical programming, automatic selection, program calculation, and robot-assisted bending. The system can automatically adjust hydraulic deflection compensation to ensure consistent bending angles.

During the debugging phase, the slider position is fed back in real time by a grating ruler to perform a closed-loop verification of "command-execution-feedback-correction" to ensure that the repeatability of the slider is ±0.01mm and the bending angle accuracy is controlled within ±0.5°.
