The maintenance cycle for an electro-hydraulic servo CNC bending machine should be divided into daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual maintenance based on usage frequency and workload to ensure the equipment's accuracy and stable operation.
Daily Maintenance (Before and After Each Use)
Clean the machine body, removing metal shavings and oil stains;
Check the lubrication status of the guide rails and lead screw;
Perform 3-5 no-load runs to confirm smooth slider movement without abnormal noise;
Check the emergency stop button, safety light curtain, and other safety devices for proper functioning.
Weekly Maintenance
Add lithium-based grease to the X/Y axis guide rails and ball screw, ensuring even coverage;
Check the pressure of the upper die clamping cylinder and whether the lower die is loose or misaligned;
Clean the electrical cabinet filter to prevent dust blockage that could cause overheating alarms.
Monthly Maintenance Clean the surface of the grating ruler with a lint-free cloth dampened with alcohol. Check the reading head's installation firmness and clearance (0.2–0.5 mm). Calibrate the back gauge (X/R axis) using standard gauge blocks. If the deviation exceeds ±0.02 mm, recalibrate. Check the timing belt tension. The deflection at the center should be 1–2 mm. If too loose, adjust the tensioning pulley.
