1. Preparation Before Cleaning

Shutdown and Power Disconnection: Ensure the equipment is completely stopped and disconnect the power supply and hydraulic system pressure.

Protective Measures: Wear gloves and safety goggles to prevent injury from metal shavings or cleaning agents.

 

2. Slider Surface Cleaning Steps

Preliminary Cleaning: Use a dry, soft-bristled brush or compressed air to blow away metal shavings and dust from the slider surface and crevices.

Wiping Oil Stains: Use a lint-free cloth dampened with a neutral detergent or specialized equipment cleaning solution to gently wipe the outer surface of the slider. Do not use strong solvents such as acetone or thinner, as these may corrode the plating.

Synchronous Cleaning of Guide Rails: The slider's operation depends on the guide rails; the guide rail surfaces must be cleaned simultaneously to ensure no particles are stuck. A silk cloth dampened with a small amount of lubricating oil can be used for reciprocating sliding cleaning.

 

3. Slider Internal Inspection (Recommended quarterly)

Remove the protective cover (if possible): Check the inside of the slider for oil buildup or iron powder accumulation.

Clean the lubrication holes: Use a fine copper wire or a special cleaning needle to unclog the lubricating grease injection holes, ensuring unobstructed lubrication channels.

Check for wear: Observe the contact surface between the slider and the guide rail for scratches, scoring, or abnormal wear. Contact a professional for adjustment or replacement if necessary.
